In 1957 when Lynn Velde established Velde Ford  in downtown Pekin, IL., he certainly established and instilled the values that have sustained Velde Ford for over fifty years.   " Customer Satisfaction is Standard Equipment at Velde Ford ".   That crede still holds true five decades later.    Lynn knew that ultimately satisfying each and every customer was of paramount importance for the longevity of any business.

Bruce Saurs joined Velde Ford in 1963.  In 1967 the dealership moved to the present location on AutoRow in Pekin.  In 1973, Tim Saurs, Bruce's oldest son joined the organization.  When we fast forward to today, Velde Ford truly is a family affair.   Bruce and Tim now are the sole owners of the dealership.  Bruce's other son, Scott, joined the dealership in 1987, ... and Tim's daughters and son, Lynzie, Stacie & Ryan are now all part of the Velde Ford organization.

The heritage and professionalism of the staff continues today.  Over 50% of the staff have 15 years of experience with Velde Ford.  Managers average over 20 years of tenure, and Technicians average over 15 years.  Combined, the Staff at Velde Ford  offers our patrons over 800 years of Ford Automotive Experience.  Now you can understand why we say,  " Experience is the True Difference in Automotive Excellence at Velde Ford".
